Day 2 – São Miguel Cave, Blue Lake Cave, and Snorkeling in the Sucuri River
São Miguel Cave – The tour begins with an introductory video about the caves, followed by a walk through the treetops of the cerrado via a 200m suspension bridge, then another 150m trail to reach one of the oldest caverns on the planet. This dry cave features a variety of geological formations where untouched nature reveals coral-like shapes and limestone nests.
Duration: 1h30

Blue Lake Cave (Gruta do Lago Azul) – Visit the famous Blue Lake Cave. Inside lies a deep-blue lake, one of the largest flooded caverns in the world. Its geological formations — stalactites and stalagmites in various shapes and sizes — attract tourists and researchers worldwide. The exact source of its waters is unknown, though it’s believed to be fed by an underground river. The cave is located about 15 km from Bonito.
Duration: 1h30

Snorkeling in the Sucuri River – The attraction’s transport will take visitors to the beginning of a 500m trail through the riverside forest, leading to the river’s source. During the 1,800m snorkeling route, you’ll admire the underwater flora and swim alongside schools of colorful fish. A support boat accompanies the group throughout the activity.

Day 3 – Estância Mimosa
After breakfast, depart for Estância Mimosa — a 400-hectare ranch that combines cattle raising, the region’s traditional economic activity, with rural and ecotourism based on sustainable development principles. The tour starts at the farmhouse, where visitors are welcomed with regional snacks and sweets. Then enjoy a pleasant walk along the Rio Mimoso’s riverside forest, passing by at least eight waterfalls of different sizes and shapes. Along the way, there are five great natural swimming spots, small caves, and even a 6-meter-high platform for those who want to jump into a natural pool. After the hike, a delicious homemade lunch is served on a wood stove, with traditional dishes and homemade desserts. The attraction is located 24 km from Bonito and lasts about 3–4 hours.
