Short description:

Wake up to the intriguing symphony of Amazonian birds in a luxurious bungalow with glass walls, surrounded by untouched tropical rainforest. Fall asleep in a wooden suite floating over an incredible labyrinth of waters amidst a million hectares of jungle. Stay facing the largest freshwater archipelago on the planet. These are just some of the possibilities for exploring the Amazonian landscapes from comfortable lodges and jungle hotels in the region.

Forest activities vary from watching the birds at dawn from a 50-meter-high tower as the mist lifts over the canopy, paddling through igarapés while avoiding branches in the flooded forest, walking among centuries-old trees accompanied by the unique soundtrack of howler monkeys, photographing dolphins leaping in a golden lake at sunset in the middle of the jungle, and visiting traditional communities to learn about local crafts, culture, and way of life. At night, almost all lodges offer night tours to spotlight animals under an incredibly starry sky. In addition to boats equipped for safe and comfortable excursions, the lodges provide high-standard facilities and authentic experiences, such as enjoying a glass of wine outdoors in a cozy garden while waiting for freshly caught fish to be grilled over the fire.

Detailed itinerary:

  • Canoeing through Igapós and Igarapés: Adventure in wooden Caboclo canoes for up to 2 people. Paddle among trees and rivers, enjoying the sounds of the forest and beautiful landscapes.
