Day 1 – Departure / Aracaju – Piranhas or Canindé de São Francisco
Flight to Aracaju, transfer to the Xingó region. Visit Santana do São Francisco/SE, considered the Sergipe capital of ceramic handicrafts. Ferry crossing over the São Francisco River (border of Sergipe / Alagoas). Arrival and check-in at the selected accommodation.
Day 2 – Piranhas or Canindé de São Francisco
After breakfast, departure for a city tour in Penedo, visiting churches and convents dating from the 17th to 19th centuries, Sete de Setembro Theater (1884), and the handicraft market. Stop for lunch (not included). Afternoon and evening free.
Day 3 – Piranhas or Canindé de São Francisco
After breakfast, departure for Piaçabuçu/AL with a tour to the mouth of the São Francisco River. Return in the late afternoon and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Piranhas or Canindé de São Francisco
After breakfast, departure for Piranhas, with a stop for lunch (not included). City tour of Piranhas Historic Center, listed by IPHAN as a National Historic Heritage site. Visits include the Heritage House, the Arts and Handicraft Center, and colonial houses.
Day 5 – Piranhas or Canindé de São Francisco
After breakfast, visit the Paulo Afonso Hydroelectric Complex/BA. Enjoy panoramic views of the Angiquinho Hydroelectric Plant, the first built in the Northeast and the second in the country. City tour of Delmiro Gouveia, including visits to the Delmiro Gouveia Memorial and the Pioneer Museum, highlighting the history of entrepreneurship in the region.
Day 6 – Piranhas or Canindé de São Francisco
After breakfast, tour the São Francisco Canyon, the 5th largest in the world and the largest navigable canyon. Formed around 80 million years ago, its cliffs reach up to 150 meters in height and depths of 200 meters, impressing all visitors. Visit the Xingó Archaeology Museum.
Day 7 – Piranhas or Canindé de São Francisco
After breakfast, embark on the True Cangaço Route of Xingó. Navigate the São Francisco River to Espaço Angicos, where you will walk the Angico Trail, site of the death of the bandit Lampião in 1938, within a protected environmental area. Lunch (not included). Visit the Entremontes District, famous for its lace makers and colonial houses listed as National Historic Heritage.
Day 8 – Piranhas or Canindé de São Francisco – Aracaju / Return
After breakfast, transfer from the hotel to Aracaju Airport. Flight back to the city of origin.
