Day 1 – Origin / Belém
Departure to Belém. Reception and accommodation at the selected hotel.
Day 2 – Belém – Marajó Island
(Monday to Saturday) – In the morning, departure from the hotel to the Port and boarding a speedboat to Soure, on Marajó Island. Transfer to the guesthouse. In the afternoon, visit to a typical Marajó farm (Araruna). Walk through the mangroves leading to Barra Velha Beach and onward to Ponta do Garrote, a sandbank formed between Marajó Bay and the mouth of the Paracauary River. Return to the guesthouse.
Day 3 – Marajó Island
After breakfast, departure by regional motorized boat to Furo Miguelão, a river channel opened by hand in the first half of the last century to shorten navigation between local farms. Return to the guesthouse. Free afternoon.
Day 4 – Marajó Island – Belém
(Monday to Sunday) – After breakfast, departure from the hotel to visit the fishing village at Pesqueiro Beach. Lunch on your own. At 1:00 pm, departure to Camará Port in Salvaterra and boarding the speedboat at 2:30 pm to Belém. Arrival in Belém around 4:30 pm. Transfer to the selected hotel.
Day 5 – Belém – tours included
Full-day tour: City Tour – Mangal das Garças, Botanical Garden and Rodrigues Alves Park.
Departure at 8:30 am for a city tour including Ver-o-Peso Market, the Old City with Forte do Castelo (entrance not included) and the Feliz Lusitânia project, Basilica of Nazaré, São José Liberto Jewelry Center (entrance not included), Teatro da Paz (entrance not included), and the Emilio Goeldi Museum Zoobotanical Park (entrance included). Lunch stop (not included). After lunch, visit to Mangal das Garças (entrance passport including the Navigation Museum, Lighthouse, Butterfly House, and Bird Aviary) and the Rodrigues Alves Botanical Garden (entrance included). Return to the hotel.
Day 6 – Belém – tour included
Half-day river tour: After hotel pick-ups, boarding to navigate the Guamá River, enjoying views of Belém’s riverfront and the movement of various types of boats, from large ferries and barges to the small “popopos,” as the river dwellers’ boats are known. After a few minutes, we will circle Combu Island, right in front of Belém, passing through Furo do Benedito and Furo da Paciência, where you can enjoy the exotic beauty of this fascinating world of waters. During the tour, you will experience the lush Amazon of Pará, its different environments such as upland forest, floodplain forest, and aquatic vegetation, as well as the unhurried lifestyle of the riverine people, their strategies and interaction with the environment, and the natural resources used in their daily lives, such as fishing, hunting, agriculture, and extractivism. At the end of the tour, transfer back to the hotel.

Day 7 – Belém / Manaus
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Manaus. Reception at Manaus Airport and transfer to the selected hotel.
Day 8 – Manaus
In the morning (except Sundays, Mondays, and public holidays), departure for a city tour. Known as the gateway to the Brazilian Amazon, Manaus is characterized by its rich architecture from the rubber boom era. This tour is essential to understand the grandeur of the cultural heritage established in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest. See Manaus’ main highlights during this tour. Visit the Adolpho Lisboa Municipal Market, Fish and Banana Markets, Rio Negro Palace, the City Museum (MUMA), and the Amazon Theatre. Discover the city’s architecture, culture, and history during the tour. Return to the hotel.
Day 9 – Manaus – Anavilhanas Lodge
At 8:00 am, departure to the lodge by road, with a travel time of approximately 3 hours and arrival around 11:00 am. Welcome with a regional juice and accommodation in the rooms. Dinner and nighttime caiman spotting.
Days 9 to 11 – Anavilhanas Lodge

Archery Techniques and Practice: A fun activity using original artifacts from the Waimiri-Atroari indigenous people, practicing aim and target shooting. A brief presentation on indigenous customs and lifestyle is also included.
Canoeing Through Igapós and Igarapés: Adventure in traditional wooden canoes for up to two people. Paddle among trees and rivers while enjoying the sounds of the forest and beautiful scenery.
Night Safari in the Anavilhanas Archipelago: A unique experience of the forest at night, immersed in the sounds of darkness under the starlit sky. Exploration of igapós in search of sloths, birds, snakes, and caimans.
Forest Trail on Upland Forest: Guided walk through the forest led by experienced local guides. Learn about native trees, fruits, and wild plants, as well as survival tips and medicinal herbs.
Anavilhanas Archipelago Tour: Search for Pink River Dolphins, navigating through the many channels, lakes, and islands of one of the largest river archipelagos in the world to spot Pink River Dolphins and Tucuxis, another local dolphin species.
Recreational Piranha Fishing: A fun fishing activity in the region’s creeks, with the opportunity to catch piranhas and other species while enjoying the surrounding scenery. During the dry season, this activity is replaced by a forest walk in the igapó.
Sunrise Contemplation: Early morning departure to the islands to observe birds in flight and admire the colors and tones of the Amazonian sky.
Visit to a Local Community: A unique opportunity to discover the lifestyle of the riverine communities, based on activities such as fishing, handicrafts, and agriculture. Community residents lead the tours, sharing stories and emotions.
Day 12 – Anavilhanas Lodge – Manaus / Origin
After breakfast, transfer to Manaus Airport for your return flight to your city of origin.
