In few places around the world does nature display its strength and grandeur with such intensity. The Iguaçu Falls were chosen as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in a global vote organized by the New7Wonders Foundation between 2009 and 2011.
It’s impossible not to be amazed by its 275 waterfalls forming a canyon of immense proportions.
Surrounded by the Iguaçu National Park, the falls are not the only attraction in the region. The park also preserves the largest remaining area of Atlantic Forest in southern Brazil. Declared a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 1986, it offers excellent infrastructure for visitors.
At attractions such as the Bird Park (Parque das Aves), you’ll encounter beautiful species like toucans, macaws, parakeets, scarlet ibises, bellbirds, and iguanas. On the Macuco Safari, a boat takes you face to face with the magnificent waterfalls.
Located at the triple border between Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay — and with decades of experience welcoming travelers — the city of Foz do Iguaçu offers a wealth of cultural experiences, gastronomy, shopping, and warm hospitality.

Flight to Foz do Iguaçu. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the selected hotel for check-in.
Day 2 – Macuco Safari – Brazilian and Argentine Falls
In the morning, departure for the Macuco Safari boat tour. Inside the National Park, you will travel about 2 km through the forest in an open vehicle at a slow pace. The journey continues on foot until reaching the banks of the Iguaçu River, where a motorized boat—specially designed for this adventure—awaits. The boat ascends the Iguaçu River Canyon up to the falls, offering a thrilling close-up view of the waterfalls from the riverbed. (Approx. duration: 2 hours.)
After the boat ride, visit the Park Visitor Center and walk along the trail that reveals over 240 different waterfalls, followed by walkways leading down to the Devil’s Throat, the largest of the falls. A panoramic elevator rises along the cliff face, providing access to the upper lookout. Together, Iguaçu National Park and Iguazú National Park (in Argentina) form the most significant tropical forest reserve in the Southern Cone, declared a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.
(Approx. duration: 3 hours.)
Argentine Falls
Cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge, which offers a stunning view of the Iguaçu River Canyon, to reach Iguazú National Park in Argentina. Walk along the upper trails, providing a closer view of the waterfalls and the lush surrounding nature, rich in orchids, bromeliads, birds, and wildlife. The highlight of the visit is the suspended walkway leading to the Devil’s Throat, an unforgettable viewpoint over the thundering abyss.
(Approx. duration: 5 hours.)
