Day 1 – Departure / Cuiabá – São José do Rio Claro (Amazon)
Board flight to Cuiabá. Reception at Cuiabá Airport. Brief introduction about the region and the trip. Departure at 1:20 pm to São José do Rio Claro (290 km). Arrival in the late afternoon. Accommodation and dinner at Pousada Jardim da Amazônia.
Day 2 – Amazon
After breakfast, wonderful trails for birdwatching. Dinner and overnight at Pousada Jardim da Amazônia.
Day 3 – Amazon – Savanna (Nobres and Chapada dos Guimarães)
Breakfast and departure to Bom Jardim in the district of Nobres.
Day 4 – Chapada dos Guimarães
Breakfast. Day dedicated to exploring Chapada dos Guimarães National Park.
Day 5 – Savanna – Araras Eco Lodge
After breakfast, departure to the Pantanal. Lunch on the way at a local restaurant. Arrival at Pousada Araras Ecolodge, welcome, and check-in.
Days 6 & 7 – Araras Eco Lodge
Included activities: boat ride, hiking, horseback riding, and night safari.
Day 8 – Araras Eco Lodge – Cuiabá / Departure
Early morning in the Pantanal to witness the awakening of the wildlife. After breakfast, departure to Cuiabá at 7:30 am or 12:30 pm – depending on your flight. Flight back to your hometown.
