In the largest flooded plain on the planet, colors are more vibrant, silences are deeper, and life is more abundant.

Counting mammals, birds, fish, and reptiles, there are more than a thousand different animal species posing for tourists’ cameras along every route, whether by land or by water.

Come experience the warm hospitality of the Pantanal people and enjoy the region’s many natural beauties and flavors.

Detailed itinerary:

Day 1 – Origin / Campo Grande – Aguapé Lodge
Flight to Campo Grande. Reception at the airport and departure to Aguapé Farm, located 195 km from Campo Grande. Passing through Aquidauana, we will take a road that follows the Aquidauana River for 60 km until reaching Aguapé Lodge. Walk around the surroundings until sunset. Dinner.
Note: Check-in from 2:00 pm (lunch not included).

Days 2 and 3 – Aguapé Lodge
Included activities during your stay at the lodge:

Horseback Riding – All rides pass through unique landscapes, but horseback riding is one of the main attractions at Aguapé Lodge, as it is the best way to explore the Pantanal. Riding through open fields, wetlands, forest patches, ridges, streams, and bays, you will encounter a rich variety of flora and exuberant fauna typical of a well-preserved region. The horses are calm, allowing even first-time riders to enjoy the experience. There are several trails with shorter or longer routes, available both during the flood and dry seasons, always accompanied by experienced local guides.

Boat Tour – Discover the Aquidauana River and the beauty and exuberance of its riparian forest, with centuries-old trees that serve as a natural habitat for birds, mammals, and reptiles along its banks. You can also simply enjoy the sounds and songs of the birds. The tour lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.

Hiking – Walks take place through dense forest, open fields, and riparian forest. This is the activity that offers the closest contact with local flora, allowing you to learn about its functions and importance to the balance of the Pantanal ecosystem, as well as a great opportunity to observe wildlife up close. There are several trail options on the farm, lasting from 1.5 to 4 hours.

Photographic Safari – Conducted in an open, adapted 4×4 vehicle, this safari allows access to more remote areas of the farm, passing through various types of vegetation such as open fields, savanna, flooded areas, and streams. It provides wide panoramic views and excellent opportunities to spot a great diversity of regional wildlife.

Night Safari – At night, the focus is on nocturnal animals and the star-filled Pantanal sky. This tour is carried out by car or boat, using a spotlight to make it easier to locate animals after dark.

“Daily activities are scheduled by the lodge and may be changed at its discretion.”
