Short description:

The natural beauty of Jalapão and the spirit of adventure surrounding the region have made it one of Brazil’s top ecotourism destinations.

Located in the state of Tocantins, Jalapão enchants with its abundant waters, plateaus, and savanna-like mountains, along with the stunning cerrado landscape. Its rivers with crystal-clear waterfalls and impressive rock formations invite visitors to interact with and admire nature. The region’s characteristic orange sand dunes, the “fervedouros” with their warm, bubbling waters that prevent you from sinking, and the warm hospitality of the local population leave unforgettable impressions.

The excursions are diverse: hiking through hills, rafting, exploring wild beaches, swimming in waterfalls and crystal-clear pools, and even enjoying the sunset atop the dunes.

If you want to witness unique natural beauty and experience a deep connection with nature, Jalapão will captivate you.

Detailed itinerary:
