Short description:

Jericoacoara, Ceará

Jeri Beach is located in front of the village of Jijoca de Jericoacoara. Its waters are shallow with minimal waves, making it perfect for relaxing or practicing Stand Up Paddle (SUP), kitesurfing, and sailing. There are beach bars offering meals, drinks, and sun loungers. Jeri Beach is surrounded by small rafts, lagoons, and 30-meter dunes that change color throughout the day depending on the sunlight.

At the Sunset Dune, every afternoon, the area fills with people applauding the breathtaking sunset. Sliding down the front of the dune on a sled adds extra fun to the experience—truly thrilling!

Don’t miss the famous Pedra Furada, a rock formation with an opening that aligns with the winter solstice sun, creating a spectacular natural display.

Parnaíba Delta, Piauí

The largest open-sea delta in the Americas and the third largest in the world, the Parnaíba River Delta covers 2,700 km² and is home to over 70 islands. Filled with dunes, mangroves, creeks, freshwater lagoons, and a vast diversity of wildlife, it is a true ecological sanctuary.

Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in Barreirinhas, Maranhão

Lençóis Maranhenses National Park is famous for its blue lagoons amidst desert dunes and is located in Barreirinhas on the coast of Maranhão, 252 km from the state capital, São Luís.

The city is part of the “Route of Emotions” and lies within the park, which also includes Primeira Cruz and Santo Amaro. The park stretches along the Preguiças River and covers 155,000 hectares of breathtaking landscapes.

Its white sand dunes can reach up to 50 meters in height, with emerald-blue lagoons filled with crystal-clear waters. The most visited lagoons are Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Bonita. Swimming in the lagoons, walking on the sand, and watching the sunset are unforgettable experiences.

For a more adventurous experience, visitors can explore the park in specially adapted 4×4 vehicles to navigate the sandy terrain. Additionally, take the opportunity to visit local communities, where you can spend the night in the picturesque expanse of Lençóis.
