May 10, 2026 – Day 1 – Guarulhos / Brasília – Alto Paraíso
Meet at Guarulhos Airport 2 hours prior to departure and board LATAM flight at 09:50, arriving in Brasília at 11:30. Reception at Brasília Airport and transfer to Alto Paraíso (230 km). Welcome lunch and accommodation at Pousada dos Guias in Alto Paraíso. Late afternoon: sunset at Bar do Mirante, a location with a privileged view and artistic activities.

May 11, 2026 – Day 2 – Morada do Sol & Vale da Lua
After breakfast, near São Jorge, we will head to the Morada do Sol Waterfalls complex. Easy access: the walk begins at the entrance where the car is parked and continues for approximately 1.5 km on mostly flat terrain. At the Morada do Sol Waterfalls complex, it is possible to walk along the São Miguel River, enjoying each waterfall and natural pool surrounded by stone slabs and scenic spots. About 500 meters of pure fun. Then we visit another highlight of the São Miguel River, Vale da Lua, a private property near the National Park. Walk 600 meters to the riverbed, where the rocks display exotic shapes sculpted by the waters over thousands of years. Lunch in São Jorge late in the afternoon.

May 12, 2026 – Day 3 – Cachoeira do Segredo
After breakfast, about 10 km from the village of São Jorge, turn left and travel a few kilometers on a dirt road to the start of the hike. Trek northeast along a path alternating well-marked trails and several river crossings, in a constant, gentle ascent. The final stretch is the entrance to a canyon, with walls contrasting dark rock colors and green vegetation. At the end lies the stunning Cachoeira do Segredo, with an impressive 120 m drop and breathtaking views. Refreshing swim and snack. Lunch in São Jorge late afternoon.

May 13, 2026 – Day 4 – Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park
After breakfast, explore Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park. Hike the trail to Saltos do Rio Preto (approx. 10 km – optional transport). The first waterfall is 120 m high and offers an unforgettable view, a true postcard of the Chapada. Then visit the 80 m waterfall with a large pool ideal for swimming. On the return, enjoy a bath in the natural jacuzzis of Pedreiras. Lunch in São Jorge late afternoon.

May 14, 2026 – Day 5 – Almécegas I, II & São Bento Waterfalls
After breakfast, transfer to Fazenda São Bento to visit Almécegas I waterfall (45 m). Optional: “Voo do Gavião” zipline (850 m), offering views of Chapada’s main mountains. Continue to Almécegas II, a large pool for a refreshing swim. On the way out, stop at São Bento waterfall for another swim. Lunch in Alto Paraíso late afternoon.

May 15, 2026 – Day 6 – Cachoeira Santa Bárbara & Cachoeira Capivara
After breakfast, drive 90 km to the neighboring municipality of Cavalcante, visiting Engenho, 25 km from Cavalcante, part of the historic Kalunga site, a former quilombo of escaped slaves from Bahia discovered in the 1970s. Visit the community’s main natural attraction, Santa Bárbara waterfall (30 m) with emerald-green waters and large pools. Then visit Capivara waterfall, which plunges through the stunning Capivara canyon at the start of Vão das Almas, the community’s main region. Short hike on a steep trail, visit a beautiful emerald-green pool where Capivara waterfall falls on one side and Tiririca stream waterfall on the other. Lunch specially prepared for the group. Return to Alto Paraíso late afternoon.

May 16, 2026 – Day 7 – Cataratas dos Couros
After breakfast, drive 57 km west. Visit one of Chapada’s most impressive complexes, Cataratas dos Couros. After 1.5 hours of off-road driving, walk approximately 1.5 km along Rio dos Couros to the beginning of the falls, where the river drops in multiple stages in a large canyon with a 300 m vertical difference, creating a festival of waterfalls and pools. Descend along one riverbank to part of the drop, with views of the falls above and below. Lunch prepared by Dona Eleuza’s family. Return to Alto Paraíso and finish the day with a relaxing Ayurvedic massage session.

May 17, 2026 – Day 8 – Gota Som – Alto Paraíso – Brasília / Guarulhos
After breakfast, enjoy a musical experience at one of Alto Paraíso’s most special locations: Gota Som, a drop-shaped temple designed to expand and harmonize sound, which can be heard in multiple dimensions while experiencing simultaneous silence. Duration: approx. 1 hour. Check-out and farewell lunch. Transfer to Brasília Airport for LATAM flight at 17:55, arriving at Guarulhos at 19:40.
